Spring Programs in Full Swing!

The Recreation Therapy programs for Spring Semester 2006 have begun and are serving new and exciting population groups.

Programs for Spring include the 2nd Annual Brain Injury Survivors Adventure Therapy Program (Sponsored by Brain Injury Services of SW Virginia), Game Night Adult Social Skills Program, an 8-session disability awareness program at Grace Preschool, Children's Art Expressions with Beans and Rice, and a line dancing fitness program for our friends at Fairview Home.

As always, if you do not see a program that meets your needs, please let us know!  We are always looking for new challenges!

RU- Gone Fishin'!

We are working hard to make this program a reality.  Gone Fishin'! has the support of Congressman Rick Boucher, the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries, the Disabled Sportsmen of America, and many others.

This innovative program seeks to bring adaptive sport fishing resources and training to residents of Southwest Virginia.  Keep your eyes and ears open for new and exciting information as it becomes available.  For more info, see Gone Fishin'! under the link for "Public Programs"
